Extreme low tide

Now that was a low tide the last two mornings! Anyone get out in that?

Sweet. Should lead to a good bite trout bite the remainder of the winter after it comes back up a little.

I remember a fishing guide telling me that when the water levels go down to -0.5 cancel your weekend plans and head down to the coast. All the fish will be stacked up.

Several friends of mine got some GATOR trout yesterday in the super low tides around Rockport. As in barely short enough to fit into the slot limits. I was too busy to participate and definitely regretted it.
