I was driving I35 one day and going the other way, I saw a flying kayak - I'm guessing he used bungees to "strap" his boat in the P/U bed.

Don't laugh; I have done this for very short runs (from the shed to the launch - about 100 yards on private property). Easy 2 man load, 2 kayaks fit on a narrow rack and I can open the rear hatch before unloading the kayaks....

but NO!! Not out on the roads :lol:
