She was put in his path, and he answered the call. Great story just goes to show us , we never know what to expect when we go out.

I have never experienced something like this in my life. I have dealt with some of my young Marines and their problems several times throughout my career and I was fortunate to be able to take care of them with the many resources available. But having to jump into action while the attempt was committed is something entirely different. I can’t help but think how different the outcome would’ve been had I not been there to answer her cry.

I want to thank Jimmy and Phong for their assistance. Without them the current would’ve made it impossible for us to reach any type of safety.

I hope she fully recovers and comes to realize that she is loved more than she thinks.

Well done Mark! I cannot believe she fell from the causeway so high and only hurt her arm. Thank God you were there!

Nice job, Mark. It's always nice to be able to help someone in a situation like that.
