fishing after a tropical storm
fishing after a tropical storm
I'm considering fishing around Aransas Pass this Friday and Saturday, but with the tropical storm coming I wonder if the deck will stacked against me. It's a 4 hour drive, so I have to pick my trips wisely. I assume there will higher than normal tides with storm, but what else should I take into consideration?
Re: fishing after a tropical storm
I'm curious as well. Was going to head out Friday and Sunday.

I'm going to try and head out to West Bay on Sunday. Where I normally go does not have much (if any) fresh water drain since it is on the South shoreline. Still a lot of uncertainty as to how much rain is going to wrap around the North and West side of this storm once it makes landfall Thursday morning. Don't know if the pressure is going to turn the bite off or not either.

Should be fine anything West matty and south. Galveston beach will be on fire saturday for those that dawn patrol for trout in the surf. Galveston bay may be back to normal by saturday as well.
