Mustang has issued a voluntary recall for some inflatable PFDs. It seems they had a single incident where the seam in a bladder gave out. It seems they're just being cautious, acting responsibly. I had a PFD that was part of the recall, contacted Mustang. They sent a replacement, no charge, no hassle.
Not all Mustang inflatables are affected. See Mustang's website below.

Re: Mustang Inflatable Recall
I need to get one.. I'd where it more often for sure. A buddy of mine wears his inflatable all the time.

Dang! Thanks for the heads up.

A guide friend of mine wears them all the time - under way, wading, drifting.TroutSupport.com wrote:I need to get one.. I'd where it more often for sure. A buddy of mine wears his inflatable all the time.
I have a set of SOS-penders that I never use (got them for sailboat racing; which I don't do any more). I might be convinced to let them go for a good price (or trade!!)
