I've been using the wind tracker app. Paid for it because I have more than 3 sights I go to. But it's free if you only want 3 sights. It has current data and forecasts. Been very accurate.

Awesome, hadn't seen this one yet. Thanks for sharing, always need to hear multiple reports.

They all still use NOAA data for the forecast. It is pretty nice to have the current reading though.

If you really want to know what the wind is going to be for the day in the main bays, look at the forecast for just off the beach in the gulf to 5 miles out range... if its calling for 10-15 in the bay, and the nearshore gulf is calling for 20-25, then you can bet its going to be 25 in the bay.

I have been using weather underground. It's all live data feeds from onsite locations owned and operated by private individuals. They link their equipment to the website and the data is available to the public for free. Some even have live webcams, but for me the live wind speed on the water from the actual site I'll be fishing is priceless.

I use windalert.com. There are live stations all over my area. The forecast are 6 days out and hourly. Forecast gives steady and gust wind velocity. Wave height and weather info also. I think the site was geared toward sailing and wind surfing. Has inshore stations also. Even has stations on Grand Cayman Island.
