Howdy everyone,
I am new to the group, so I wanted to get a few opinions. I am from Texas City originally and live in League City now, but recently I have been skunked in two consecutive trips, one floating the reefs off the Dike and the other fishing the Dollar Bay marshes in Moses.
The first trip was a windy day (~15-20 mph), so I didn't see much catching from the boats or waders around me either, so I will scratch that one.
However, the second trip was a surprise since I was in a school of shad and mullet for two hours and only saw one trout pop the entire time with not even a nibble. This was last weekend, so the conditions were not horrible. I am curious if anyone has an idea on how the fish in the lake or at the Dike are moving right now in the AM.
I am going to go out Saturday night, but I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on spots, or if anyone needs a fishing partner since I go out alone mostly.
