About a year ago I fished East Bay with Shoffer & had half an expensive Swift paddle float away while I wasn't looking. So for a year I used my other "Trim Swift" paddle & pedaled my Hobie around wondering where the "Fat Swift" had gone...
Found out this morning at Rollover Pass fishing again with Shoffer! A kind retired gentleman was launching his powerboat when I noticed his kayak paddle sticking up on a rodholder. I said that looks like one I lost, & he said he'd found it a year ago on East Bay... BINGO! Figure those odds! The middle one was returned.
Mr. Jim Lindner gave me back my paddle-half & refused my offer of reward money. God bless us all. I think the angels look after kayakers...

Some people are extremely lucky! What are the odds of that happening after 1 yr?
Great story.
