TTF Gundog rods

Post by non pro angler \m/ »

If anyone is interested, Academy has the TTF gun dog rods on clearance for 29.99. I went in to replace a broken Garcia and came out with a 7' medium action. Had a real good feel to it and looks nice. Can't wait to fish it! Heck I'm thinking about going back and buying another.

My Academy here in Round Rock never carried them The new owners decided a 2.5 hour trip to the coast was too far for this to be a saltwater market.   But we got rows and rows ski clothes. :?: :?: :?:

Yeah they still have the 99.99 hang tag on them. How did you like yours?

Can those of you that have bought one already let me know which Academy you're buying them at? I wouldn't mind picking one up if I'm close.

You can cast far, because of the height.

Their a little stiff.

Sensitive.

Can't complain about the product, but will complain about the price. :(

I got a 7' med-fast spinner, only been able to take it out to cast once since I got it but feels like a solid rod, plenty of whip, and a good backbone for handling stubborn reds.

Bought mine at the Nasa store. You could probly check online before you make the drive.

Thanks, I'm closer to Pearland and Pasadena but NASA isn't too far. I'll have to check them out.
