Launch at Louis on hwy 6. Pearce marsh is between Bayou Vista and Harborwalk.

and yeah, there is a ton of information on this site about it. You might have to get creative in your search terms though.

Launch from Louis at Bayou Vista, paddle out under hwy 6 bridge AND under the railroad bridge (watch your rods).... first entrance to pierce marsh will be up on your right.

Yes, Louis has bait and plenty of parking. It also has great burgers n beer for when you get off the water

The paddle is maybe a mile.

I located Pierce Marsh on the map. The first cut on the right past the railroad is the entrance as I understand. I noticed on the map that there are a number of man-made structures in the marsh. Looks like some kind of conservation program. Are these fishable? Any advice about the area will be appreciated.

Yep, lots of marsh plantings both newish and old going on in there. Very fishable. Keep in mind to make those humped up islands, they dug mud from along the sides of the islands so there is generally a deeper area on one side or the other.
