Will that stakeout pole fit through the scuppers on the t140?
I use a broom stick now that i painted black and don't expect to hold up too long in the salt.

The only problem of using stakeout poles through the scupper holes is that the scupper holes are quite thin in the plastic department and one would be susceptible to damaging the scupper hole and then have water leak into the inside of the hull.

that, and its pretty noisy sometimes hitting up against your yak...One thing you could try (i think this has been mentioned before) is tying a piece of rope or, even better, some elastic rope (like bungee) to the pole and put a loop on the other end to clip to your yak...

Yeah good point NW, i'm lucky this hasn't happened yet b/c thats how i do it. I'll have to start staking it outside the yak. Will rig something up tonight before hitting the water.
