Congratulations to Paul La ( and his son Andrew ) who was visiting us from Texas. Fishing from his brothers Raptor they managed to pull in the First Place prize, a 33" Butt,,, in the NCKA ARW Halibut Derby.
74 kayaks entered for this Title. BTW That little guy rode there from 7 am till 1 pm ... patiently coaching his father along (notice the VHF in his hand ). What a sport he was, with a great attitude the whole time. It was a pleasure to get to know those two.
