I spent $50 on a system that wrecker drivers use and use it on about everything now. Never back up and hook on and wonder what type of trailer light problems I'm gonna have. They sell them with both suction cups and magnetic.

I've thought about those. Do you take them off and put them in your vehicle while you're fishing to keep them from getting stolen?

sounds to me like you either need a converter or need to rewire the trailer plug to match the car plug. Yes, most trailer wiring problems are caused by a faulty ground, but if what you say is true and you wired all three sets correctly, the problem is too consistent to be a ground. Here is the color code for the tundra and probebly for the whole trailer.

White - ground
Brown - Tail
Green - right turn
Yellow - left turn

Make sure all this is correct!!!! Then make sure you have a good clean connection from your vehicle frame (follow the white wire from the vehicle plug) to the trailer frame THROUGH THE PLUG!! Trailer hitch grounding is not reliable in a salt water environment. Especially if the trailer sits for long not being used. Also, make sure the ground attachment for the lights is clean.

I still say something is wired wrong, but you just never know.

Here you go drift fisher:

- When Chuck Norris goes to out to eat, he orders a whole chicken, but he only eats its soul.

- Who let the dogs out? Chuck Norris let the dogs out... and then roundhouse kicked them through an Oldsmobile.
