Missed Connections - ArtificialOnly
So this is a missed connections of sorts     I know this is not quite in the right area, but wanted it to get the most exposure. And the OT board is pretty dead right now. Anyhow, ran into ArtificialOnly early yesterday morning, we were both busy and it was raining so didn't get ...

Re: Backcountry Colorado Trip Questions?
I think the South San Juan would be a good bet. I haven't spent much time there, but it is a beautiful place, the Conejos is about as nice of a river as I've fished. I am planning an extended (around 2 week) backpacking/fishing trip for next year, and the SSJ is my plan B trip (Wind River Range is ...

Lake Texoma Catfish
I was curious if anyone can give me some info on catfishing Texoma. I'll be camping right near the 377 bridge. Where can I find bait (I'm thinking large shad/perch), or should I try to catch it myself? I'm hoping to go after some "large" kitties so I'd assume the typical stink bait wont do...

Not a company, he was a member on here. That was his screen name. I believe his real name was John, don't remember his last. I know he was a Geologist and lived around the Roanoke area.

I'm Looking To Get In Touch With Yak Attack
Does anybody have any info on how I can reach Yak Attack? I've noticed he has not been around for over a year and I went ahead and sent a PM just in case he will get an email alert. But in the event that does not happen I was hoping anybody may know if he's lurking somewhere else or has an email add...

Have you been able to use that degree to get a job? I'm having a really terrible time trying to find something worthwhile in the metroplex. I've been mainly focusing on oil/gas but have also been putting in applications/resumes for other industries with office type stuff like entry level manager pos...

Nope, not yet.

Do you work there?

Re: Fishing the changing weather? (galveston this weekend)
I fished West Bay this morning in the crazy @$$ wind. I found a cut that was draining a marsh and picked up two keeper trout and a flounder on a killer flats minnow.
So far fishing has been decent, it's the wind that sucks

Does the fishing traditionally get better with a storm moving in or does it slack off?
I was planning on hitting west bay, the surf and btb.
What should I expect this Fri-sun?
Thanks Guys!

What's the fishing like on the coast when it's raining? Good or bad?
I don't mind if it's pouring down, as long as the fish are biting

Re: Weather not looking good for saturday...
Tell me about it, I finally get to make it back down to the coast as its been 4-5 years. Every time I'm able to fish down there, the weather/tides go to crap.
With about 10-15 salt trips under my belt I've only caught 1 flounder, 1 rat red, and 1 mini spec. Those are not good numbers...

hmm....think he clearly missed the boat on what a "report" is. posing a picture of a boatload of fish is of no benefit to anyone  . Location: Unknown You don't have to give specific location details, but a general vicinity would be helpful (i.e. christmas bay, surfside, port A, etc....
