Thanks all, picked one up a HD

You need to invest into a Thermal scope. We had to because they would scare all the deer off the feeders,, haven't seen a deer in 3 years during the day. We picked up a Thermal and a night scope and have been taking a lot of hogs off the lease.

I find myself in need a "pushoff/stakeout pole. Any place to pick up a fiberglas rod?

I hear you on that,, but the way the shore is on lake Travis, a pole would work nicely

How do you keep from beating your paddle when pushing off the shore?
I have thought there was a fiberglass pole that would work just fine. Is there an edge protector for them?

How many here use a bait caster that casts and then reels with the opposite hand. In other words do you cast with your right and reel with the left,, not counting spinning reels. Thinking about replacing the Mono with Fluoro. What is a good brand? Can it be used for main line and leader? All of my bait casters have braid, and would like to use Fluoro for leaders but my spinning reels have mono and wondering if it's worth it to change out

I've been trying to find a transducer mount that will fit in the Perception Pescador pilot's indention? Called ACK and they had no idea of what I was talking. Looked on the Garmin site to see if they had one, but is really lacking in info.
Any help out there?

Thanks so much,, Perception is stingy with their info. now does anyone know how to pack the grease? I looked on their site and could not find any info. Guess I'll call tomorrow.

Just got back from the lake, and noticed the sound of gears. Can someone point me where I get info about packing grease the gears? Would a tube of Lubriplate work, or should I use Marine grease?

Where is the cheapest place to buy?
