The seat on my T160 is fine. I will eventually try a padded bottom, though. The seat isn't my problem. I sometimes like to hang my legs off the side and fish to keep my body from getting stiff due to sitting in one position all day. I have fished standing from a Drifter before. It helped the crampin...

Honda is a strong favorite. It offers engine braking, useful going down hills, since it actually has a transmission instead of a CV belt like most of the others.
Ask dealers, who might be knowledgeable of someone wanting to trade up. It's worked several times locally that I know about.

I have a flat zip top Coleman soft cooler that fits into the front tankwell of my Tarpon.
It works great for a day of fishing.

It is always a red worm for me. Or, red/white also.

It's called a double chance, I think.
Somebody in the Valley makes them - Mel's Lures in McAllen?

About the same thing happened at Lake Travis. Nighttime boat hit & run resulting in one death. Did eventually catch the perps, as I recall.

Yep, first certification in 1972.

Did a lot of diving in support of USN projects at the Applied Research Labs, Lake Travis Test Station during the last half of the 70's.

Get the lifetime license at TP&WL 800-792-1112. It costs $600 hunting, $600 fishing, or $1000 combination. Costs around what a hunting lease or yak costs, and the license hopefully lasts longer. Younger sportsmen have a greater profit. This money goes into an endowment fund, of which the interest is...

I used 10# IronSilk on my last trip to LHL, and liked it a lot. It casts well, but really shows up in the clear water. I'd have no problem with it in murky water, though.

Next trip, I'm switching over to 100% fluorocarbon. It's invisible.

Coppertone Sport; but wish it had a higher SPF rating.

If the bugs are bad, use 100% DEET.

Another good place to put in is just North of the Convention Center on the Island. Drive right up to some fine fishing!

The good folks at the Fly Shop near the base of the bridge in Port Isabel could steer you in the right direction.

Or, you could solve the rusting pliers problem and do what I've noticed some folks have done. Several used Van Staal titanium pliers have lately sold on ebay, and they've been getting between $230 to $270 a pair.
I know new, they didn't sell for as much.

After a week, I am really enjoying my new Pentax 33WR.

Walk-away price was $270 from www.shopharmony.com

:!: Be sure, when you get another SD memory card, to get one with the 32x write speed, and not with the ordinary 8x write speed. Follow-on shots are faster.

If i'm hunting whitetail, i'll be using my bow. Fred Bear said that in all the world, the most difficult game animal to bag is an exceptional whitetail buck. This from a guy who has killed many animals, from the elephant on down, with a bow.

I still use my 264 Win Mag for mule deer, though.

Pentax 33WR (water resistant) is on my list.
Optical zoom 3x; about $260.
Supposedly will withstand a dunking.
If anyone can test a camera like this, it's me.
