Re: Self-powered live well for kayak (hobie in particular)

Great Idea! Check out the Stealth kayaks live well with the forward and reverse facing inlets/outlets that cycle fresh water while in motion. Love their boats but never owned one. Professor Salt on this forum or Rokkit Kit on youtube should be able to connect you, as both sport Stealth yaks at one t...

Beach conditions at CC?

I am fishing this weekend at Corpus. How are the conditions at the beach? Storm surge? 2WD friendly at BHP and MP?

MP parking?

Can we still park at #80 to fish MP rigs? Last season the beach was a little skinny and parking was questionable at high tide. I even got a warning when parking next to the dune last trip. Is there an alternative? Any help would be appreciated before I migrate for the summer! Thanks guys

Thank you Prof! Only been doing BTB a few seasons now and feel like your apprentice. Looking forward to seeing you on the water again soon now that the kings are back in town.

Re: Mayan Princess Parking???

I had the permit, and I have never had any trouble before. I dont think I was “in the dunes” as it was just the edge of where the plow goes and not off the beaten path.

Mayan Princess Parking???

Good morning plastic armada compadres

Last time I parked against the dunes at MP I got a warning from the city about parking there. I guess things have changed since there is not much beach left anymore.

Where do you guys park now to paddle out to the MP rigs????

OCT 5-6 BTB CC Report

I had to get one more BTB trip in before fall, so I went last weekend even though conditions weren’t great. Saturday about noon I went to BHP and punched through 2.5ft surf that wasn’t going to be too bad if I timed it right. Ended up with a boat full of water, but that PA 14 has a lot of momentum t...

Slow 2019 season BTB CC ? What is going on?

Is it just me or has this been a slow season BTB? Seems like last couple summers have been more consistent. This July was my first skunk - not even the sharks would bite! September 2018 had kings out the wazoo .... haven’t seen many fishing reports so far this year. Except for a few Aussie topwater ...

Re: 2019 Rey Del Mar Offshore Tournament

Who won? I haven’t seen any results posted. Maybe just not looking in the right place. Looks like it was great weather! I hit MP rigs yesterday morning for a quick trip. Surf was low, easy getting out, a bit choppy all the way to Wally with waves coming over the bow of my PA for a slightly wet ride....

Offshore July 5,6,7 - are the kings back yet?

I heard there has been a shortage of fish caught recently, from PINS to PortA - possibly due to colder water temperatures welling up. I am planning on making a trip this weekend - anyone know if the kings have returned to BHP or MP in the past few days?

Re: !!!!! Pins area fishing this week any one !!!!!

I'll be in CC area to fish all day Saturday and Sunday, and looking for a group to join. I've been btb 3 times, but the last was ~15 miles and ready for more. I'm in for MP or BHP or anywhere 2WD friendly - name the time and place and I'll be there. Do you mind if I tag along with you guys?
