Trust me, worth it. Solid fiberglass. Buy the 3/4" diameter and you can make a T-head out of PVC.

Re: Kayak trip to East Matagorda Bay

There is a section of protected bay that is East/SouthEast of Spring Bayou (a branch off of 3 mile cut) It's a lagoon that is catch and release only. It holds about 6" of water. Could be a fun wade if yall need to rest your paddling shoulders. I caught my first sight-casted redfish in there. h...

Looking to be double digit winds. I would consider that heavily when thinking about taking kids out on a kayak.

Re: times must be tough

Ok, Carl, why did you not give us a reasonable chance to buy said lures then?

You NEVER made a post about the lot of lures until this post, which was a "sorry too late" post.

The only ad you have posted for lures was in the wrong section, and did not fully describe what you had for sale.

Re: times must be tough

Perhaps it's not a reflection of a throwaway society. Perhaps it's a reflection of technology advancing faster than a certain segment of society's ability to keep up. No one saw the OP post his for sale in the classifieds section. After a quick search, it looks like he posted in the Misc Classified ...

Re: New All Around Kayak?

the comparison between Rtic and yeti is quite amusing though. When rtic first came out they were automatically labeled as a yeti copier BUT the prices were a lot cheaper. Now you look at a yeti 65 and rtic 65 and they are the same price... Not to throw the thread off track, but an Rtic 65 is $160 c...

Re: Whats a good kayak rack for my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

I have a '16 2 door soft top. I am saving for a Barracade Roof rack ($399)

Not too worried about mounting it to the rack, just need something up there that is sturdier than the bows of the soft top.

I'll be taking my two boys out there soon. I've seen a lot of 3lb+ bass being pulled out of there.
