Re: St. Charles
Thank you both for the advice. I will be down there in the next few days and will post back with a report. I'll also keep a close eye for those gators

Anybody had any luck in St. Charles lately? I really like the area, but never seem to do great. I am wondering if launching from 35 in the back of the bay will produce?

Re: Line with spinning gear
I was under the impression that a swivel would be pretty noticeable to a fish... I guess not.

Line with spinning gear
I typically use Power Pro with a flouro leader tied with a uni to uni... This works fine for my baitcast set up, but makes my soft plastics "torpedo" or twist through the water when I'm using my spinning gear. This makes a very unnatural motion. Anyone have tips on how to reduce this effec...

Re: Surf fishing for Specs
Supposedly wind is the biggest factor in the movement of the spill. But I'm no expert. As for the surf fishing, try getting your hands on some live ghost shrimp, thier like candy for specks and the species that sammy mentioned above.

I will be in Houston for business and was going to meet a friend in Galveston who has little fishing experience. It's too bad you can't check a yak on Southwest Airlines. Thanks for th...

I was wondering where there are convenient and productive places to start fishing on the Texas Coast. In no way am I asking for "secret ...

Hey guys, does anyone know of a place to rent kayaks in the Rockport-Port A area? It could even be in Corpus, just some where remotely close. Thanks.
