Re: Trailer Lights Malone Trailer
According to the OP the ground wire is still connected at the plug attaching to the vehicle. On folding/collapsible trailers there's a second plug where the tongue attaches to the frame of the trailer to allow it to retract or be removed; that second harness doesn't have a ground wire. Neumie thank...

Today started a little late around 0900. I got off ferry heading to AP and pulled off on the left before the first bridge. Launched and went under the bridge towards lighthouse Lakes wind was howling. Fished a drainage comes out of LHL nothing worked my way back into the back lakes. Was throwing a l...

Re: Brown & Root
I was in my Bluesky 360. Paddled to the islands and drifted back. Saw some reds between the islands but real spooky. Saw couple reds on the flat, managed to drift up one lower slot red swimming away from me and fool it. My trip was a classic case of fishing for redfish and not fishing for what was ...

Re: Port Aransas 11/2 to 11/4
All those lures should work, I haven’t been to Wilson cut yet but fish around that area. I usually fish the edges of flats or a drainage for Trout then move up on the flat to look for Reds. I usually fan cast an area with a faster moving bait like Spook JR, spinner bait, spoon or maybe a wake bait,...

Re: Big Fish kayaks
I recommend you visit TG Kayaks in San Marcos - he has many more different boats to look at there and can give you a demo on the San Marcos River in his back yard. You also won't find any kid-salesmen there. Agree TG Kayaks really know there stuff, they also have Jackson Kayaks which ACK does not. ...

Re: Port Aransas
You might have luck at Church’s hole I admit never fished in October but decent launch and always seem to catch Trout. Head from Port A toward CC & you’ll see Methodist church on your right, turn off is just past that. I’ve also waded their with success. You can also launch by Red Dot Pier, whil...

My favorite Softdine, & Spook JR....Match color to water clarity, although a Bone Zara Spook JR seems to work all day. 100 opinions on this subject, Gold weedless spoons, paddle tails, Popping court with gulp seem to work well for some. Recently have had good luck with Trout support lure, link f...

Re: Newbie needs advice.
I have a milk crate and place two 3600 Plano’s with the majority of my lures. Also I stick a wind sock and some spare rope. Although I can’t turn enough to see the contents I can reach and grab what I need. I have a center console in front of me that I place my first aid kit, smaller Plano with what...

Re: Another really solid trout on TSL
Fished Brown and Root Friday water was high and I was throwing a spook and getting little pops but no takers, switched to Bone TS Lure and Boom two Reds just under slot on two casts. Few minutes later a solid slot red....First time using lure was impressed how you can twitch it and long at moderate ...

When I first started fishing the coast I threw a lot of those SK spinnerbaits because it was a lure I was familiar with from bass fishing...Caught some decent fish on them, still use them today but not as much...Favorite color? Had sheepshead at resturant last time I was at the cost, my wife and I loved it guess I need to take some time to fish for them....I’ll try anything once, but since I don’t think I can catch a mullet on rod and reel I probably will not eat mullet. Not hearing any thing about skipjacks are they as ba...
