There are two sites listed on the above site.
There is an error (things have changed), there is no kayak launch point on Pelican Island; either at TAMU or Sea Wolf Park.
The TAMU site looks like it would be really nice one, however it is blocked off with 2 fences .... thanks TAMU! NOT!

There is no way I would go out on Saturday given the current forecast. If I were to go out in Sunday morning instead of going to Austin for my son’s golf tournament, I would go to Churchill Bayou and fish the mouths of the drains from about 7:15a until about 10:30a. Three kayaks ... there at opening 7 AM ... no real fish caught by anyone. Besides low velocity what is the best wind direction for fishing off Galveston? Was out Sat and it was from the NE and still to rough to venture off shore.
