Re: *****BOB HALL PIER - BTB, JULY 5, 2020 SUNDAY (((CONT. UPDATES)))*****

You better have the rod tethered, some of the fish I had encountered would break the PVC. May I suggest you shorten this setup so its closer to the hull. I bet others would chime in with better ideas than I. On a side note, that rod is the best buy for the buck offshore. Absolutely on the tethering...

I am rigging a trolling setup and want some opinions from the experienced BTBers. Which way would y’all go?

If it were me, I would request a jury trial. I believe it is that worthless Judge Trevino that is doing this. Just today he okayed golf and tennis at private clubs only.

Re: Florida BTB

Ty and Teresa just moved back to Texas. They are always willing to help, so if you contact them, they can probably give you some pointers.

I will not be able to attend on the 23rd. Was timing this weekend with a family trip to Port A. Oh well, my struggle continues. Y'all be safe and have fun!

Newbie to BTB, but I have wanted to do this for years. So far I have lived vicariously through Ty, Prof. Salt, and all the others on YouTube. I am looking forward to this. Thank you for putting this together.

Surfside 8/17

Will only be down for the day and I have never been BTB. Anyone want to let a newbie tag along?

Re: Question about hauling kayaks

Thank you, RD. I still don't have my rack yet, so I can't tell if it will work. I was trying to get input because there is a Malone setup in the classifieds that I was going to pick up and just buy an extra set of J cradles.

Re: Question about hauling kayaks

A very crude drawing, but here is the idea I had in mind. This is the view from the back of the truck. Haven't received the towers yet, but I may not have enough room for what I want to do. The middle yak is a Big Rig, the outer yaks are a Perception and a smaller kid's yak.

Question about hauling kayaks

I am new to this great sport and have a few questions. I have a Tundra and have a welder friend of mine making a rack for me with the towers. Will I be able to haul 3 kayaks with 2 "J" style hooks on the outside and a flat saddle in the middle? I will be hauling them often and want the mos...

Re: New guy here - DFW area

I, too have been mainly a lurker for the past year. Just gathering info from all over before I purchase. Well, I bought my first kayak and pick it up tomorrow. I am from the opposite side of the metro mess (Mansfield), but would be interested in meeting up and do some fishing. I mainly fish for cats...
