Re: Fish storage while offshore
I have a bag, but honestly the kings are so big it doesn’t work most of the time.
Most of the time I just drop them in the bottom….
Once home I run some Lysol and water/bleach mix in the hull and leave hatches open to dry out. No smell at all.

There are a lot of options in today’s market but a lot of guys really like the outbacks. I’m a paddler so I use an older Jackson Kraken.
PAs are a comfy ride, but can be a challenge in the surf if conditions aren’t great.

Re: Wed 8/12 report
Cool report, pretty ballsy to be in a little kayak in the ship Channel; Actually not sure if ballsy are the right words... Glad you’re ok, My .02 cents is you’d be safer on the surf side of the jetties. Hope you get em next time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I saw no tankers that day, and only...

Re: Surfside Trip Wed Aug 12th or Fri the 14th
Some do launch from Quintana, but I’ve done the jetties a number of time without any issue. Typically it’s worse on an outgoing tide, as the current and tide clash right there. I usually go during slack. I’m using Magicseaweed, SwellInfo, and FishWeather. I’m hoping between the 3, I can get close. L...
