the only thing that will make it sway is the way you load the kayak. just have it balanced. centered over the trailer axle.

Did the Conejos a month ago. Had a ball. Caught fish. Browns and rainbows. Lots of places to wade. Wife and I are going to Cimarron weekend before Labor Day. Let you know how that works out.

used to fish salt lake all the time when I lived there. never record fish, but did catch a bunch of red's usually along the bank going down towards the inlet to the lake. if you go up the bayou right there at the boat ramp, there used to be a big daddy alligator lived up in there. he was 8-10 feet b...

I have a dedicated box of misfit flies, like the island of toys on Rudolph the red nose reindeer. I have spoon flies I made that are registered lethal weapons in 48 states. It would take an 18 weight, if they made such a thing, to cast them. They are so heavy they make excellent surf fishing weight...

I have a L56. I'll post pics with measurements and etc. tonight. Looks like about the same reel.
