I think we will be good. 1st day is short paddle day. Our first camp site is around 6 mile. Paul, we stayed there the last time you cam...

Re: Upper Brazos
Great time, with a great group of guy's . We didn't fish hard at all. Fishing was slow with everyone I talked with up and down river. Weather had been up and down to. We did have to drag alittle more this trip then last. More of a easy going trip just to get away and recharge the soul.

Re: How do U manage UR kayaks/kayak trailer while campin/hotel?
Locks, locks and more locks. Alway make sure you put a trailer lock on trailer to truck. Second I use a long heavy duty chain ,run it around and through the holes on trailer wheels and kayaks . With good locks. If the chain and locks can be seen the better. And if possible try and stay where you can ...

Lots of trash (as in big dead trees)in the lake from upstream. We need to plan a trip soon. I'll get with the Beekeeper. Let...

Re: Martin Dies Jr State Park - Screened Shelters
I found that most Texas State parks screen shelters are all about the same size and all in good to great shape. But not all have ac and haven't seen one with heating. We found they can get REAL COLD at night in winter when the cover are off or you have no tarps to cover the walls. Just ask the Beeke...

Re: open invite going back to caddo lake
With a guide like Beekeeper, you can't go wrong. We still had to deal with the rain ,and a spring break crowd. But for someone who grew up in the DFW area. To see though mountain and west Texas sky day and at night. Unbelievable beautiful. Will be going back. And a BIG Thank you to The Beekeeper, yo...
