weighed her this weekend, ended up 40lbs dressed out. Could have saved a few pounds if I had stayed away from the mahogany decks and thwarts, but it is just such good looking wood. Training will start next weekend.

Well she turned out to be sea worthy. I couldnt be happier with her performance. Took the family out to the 380 greenbelt Sunday and got her wet. Tracking stability and speed were very good. Thwarts installed, worked out nice. Final Helsman coating coming soon. Couple of pics. Couldnt resist the dragon, it will be removable.

Thwarts laid up, gunnels and decks complete. I can see the light at the end of the sanding tunnel. any suggestions on attaching Thwarts? Stainless steel predrilled screws and epoxy??

what a mess. Fiberglassed the interior last night , got into a problem I couldnt get out. The glass on the bottom went down real well. The trumbllehome was really tough on the one side, and got to the other side couldnt make the glass lay inverted. :evil: finished out the rest of the boat, came back...

Got the exterior Glassed this weekend and pulled it from the forms. Colors turned out really nice. Its going to be light. What a mess on the inside. Have alot of work to do on the inside. Going to try getting the inside glassed next weekend. Will post some pics soon. Any suggestions on good scrapers...

Got my cloth yesterday from US composites. 12yds of 6oz E glass. guess what I will be doing this weekend? West Marine was almost 3 times the price of US composites.

Straight edged forms and found some small issues, Started stripping and found the tight radiuses difficult to get around. think it will be okay. Will post some pics of forms this afternoon. Using a mixture of Pine and WRC New experience torchering the wood like this. Kind of like it

forms cut from 5/8" Ply, rounded the edges and sanded them down this weekend. Started putting all the forms together. Looks like a fast boat.

Well Gentlemen,
Remember this thread? Built a 1/4 scale of it and really liked the lines. Going full size now. Will cut out stations this weekend and start building. Hoping to have it ready for the 100mile race the Colorado River 100 in September. Will keep you posted.
