Re: Sunday Beach Camping Trip

Re: Goose Island Camping Trip
If you camp on the water the skeeters won't be as bad, if you camp away from the water be sure and have several thermocells or other skeeter repellent. If you are camping away from the water be sure and keep food locked up in your vehicle as the coons will tear up anything you have to get to the foo...

Re: Blue Crab as Bait - Regulation Interpretation
No more than 5% in a separate bucket. If you have 20 crabs on more than 5% can be illegal. Sometimes I have 20 plus in a trap I always take keepers put em on ice rest in the bait bucket.

I saw those on google before I went and fished there a couple of years ago. Was all excited that there were so many canals open areas. Got there and was told off limits.

Last year I was at my Dr after my stroke gave him the paper work from the hospital they told me to give him. We talked and told him since the hospital released me with no conditions I assume I can hunt and fish like I always have. He said sure as long as you are able. Then he said what kind of a gun...

Re: Smoking woods
I use peach wood, also you can use peach pits soaked in water. You can soak pecan shells too. Used to be able to get 50# sack of peach pits in Fredricksburg for about $3.00. Not anymore. Apple wood is good too. Mesquite like already been said needs to have the bark removed or burnt off. In my electr...
