Re: E Matty
Nah, I stop fishing from May thru Sept, and start again around October thru April. My first time out was last week trying to get used to the Outback. I sold the PA and bought a used Hobie Outback wanting something lighter, I will go back to the PA soon, need more storage and room.

Video of Speckle Trout feeding, Lighting Fast
Thought I would post this video I saw on FB. It shows specks feeding at night, unbelievable how fast they can strike.

If price is not a concern then go for it. $2000 vs $775.00

Re: Torquedo 403 ultralight vs WS Helix Drive Opinions
I looked at the Torquedo 3 years ago for my Hobie PA and could not justify 2500.00. I decided if I need power I will go with a 2.5 HSP Suzuki, 29LB, with built in gas tank. Price $775.00 Island Hopper has motor mounts for different types of kayaks.

Few Bites, Big Fish
I haven't been on the water for weeks and I needed my fish therapy bad! Like Slayer said, the bite was tough. Got on the water at 11:00 and spoke to some guys wading and they said it was slow. Started fishing in deeper water nothing, went to some areas I like to fish and the same story, nothing. Dec...

x2 Neumie, I use to fish for these species every summer with a Guide out Lavaca Bay. So much fun, and the best tasting fish on earth!

Tobin said it best! Pre frontal bite is the best and most aggressive and it's usually due to a dropping barometer and some other factors combined.

Re: axis deer
Cows weigh a lot compared to an Axis deer. Obviously, a cow will consume more grass. If there is over population of Axis deer in that region I guess it's possible to have grass shortages.
