That's pretty much why I quit looking at message boards. Too many people like him that only want to brag or rag. But I guess here in Texas, if you find some good public place to hunt or fish, everyone does want to jump on them and over hunt/fish them.

I drew a blind for the Sargent WMA. Can't wait for the season to start. What are the prominent duck species I can look forward to seeing out there? I need to get some demes as all I have are pintail and mallard. Any other advice on hunting this area would be helpful as well.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that I DO have the public hunting permit for the WMA's.

Okay, here's a question. I never spear fished before. I know that everything underwater looks bigger, how do you avoid shooting a undersized fish? Basically, how do you confirm the size before the shot?

I'm not sure on the requirements. But the last time I donned scuba gear, there weren't even cell phones around. Times and technologies have changed...it's best I re-certify. Hell, my certifying agency (NASDS) isn't even around anymore.

Damn, after seeing everyone out there last weekend, I'd sure love to. Only problem is that I haven't dived (dove?) since 1990. I think my certification is expired. Gonna have to get re-certified soon. Great, another expensive hobby.
