Just went that way Sunday. The river is moving pretty fast through most of that and the fishing is spotty. A friend caught a couple of nice bass with one pushing 5 maybe 6lbs. You might consider going further upstream between centerpoint and comfort where there is not quite so much water.

Just ordered a new paddle today from ACK . After I placed the order I started thinking maybe I should have ordered the 240cm and asked about my TKF discount. So I sent them an email with my number thinking maybe they would call me on Monday but was quite surprised when my phone rang within 5 minutes...

Well right now it's paddle ,drag,paddle.drag,paddle . But it is still a beautiful river to paddle,drag.

Went to Flatrock today and was surprised how clear the river was . I haven't been there in about 6 months but it sure looks better than last year! Ended up catching 8 bass and left when the front finally blew through.

Yeah he's been called simple before :roll: Great day on the water should be good after this rain . I moved up to 12lb test and had no break offs and caught even more fish than the last time. My son went from 6 lb test to 12 also and caught twice as many fish as before. So I guess it makes little dif...

Went Sunday to the North Fork flow is 10cfs ,water was cold fishing was hot, 35 fish caught between 3 people. Two fish were in the 3 to 4 lb range. LMB,guads, and smallmouth were the fish caught.

There is always someone at Wal Mart that can sell you a license . You were not treated right, but I guess that is what you get from them sometimes . I bought mine two weeks ago about 1:00 AM after work .

It's just like Gumbo said, Close to the bank and hold on tight ! Next time you need to take your allergy medicine before we go you were probably scaring all the fish off :twisted: . Also be careful that entry point could be slick !

Out there on the old Walker Ranch used to be another Mission that is now long gone and forgotten, but is was a great place to get arrowheads before they developed that whole area.
