Are you geared up for BTB. PFD, VHF, leashes and appropriate rigs for Reds and sharks?
Will be at the SLABS early Sunday morning with my wingman. All are welcome.

Re: What net to use for mullet in the surf??
We don’t usually catch our mullet. Takes a lot of time and effort you could be fishing. We purchase large horse mullet from Rick at SEA PONY in Winnie. A large bait makes a head and 3 body baits. About 3-4 large mullet you good to go. Some of the guys will supplement with live catches on a bait rod.

Paddling under the hull of the Gray Ghost how cool is that. You look like you could cross Baffin on a small craft advisory day and actually enjoy it. Well done.

IT HAPPENS. An old salt gave me a very succinct tip for kayak stability that I adhere to. KEEP YOUR NOSE INSIDE THE COCKPIT AT ALL TIMES. You will be just fine.

A 7’ rod is standard issue for most all kayaks. You should be fine.
