Talked to Firefly Yesterday. It seems the prognosis is improving and he may make it, though the recovery will be long.

Go up to the pinned topic"Camping Reports: All of Them" open it and go down to Brazos River. It will cover several sections of the river, but that below Possum Kingdom will be heavily covered. There should be plenty of information to keep you busy for a while.

I love that stretch of the Brazos. It looks like you and your family had a great time!!!

The first time I ran that 20 miles the water was up and I flipped in rapids when my rod caught in a tree. I suspect about 1,000 cfs would be ideal. Glad you made it back.

I have done the day trip down from Rochelle's and the scenery is not nearly as dramatic.

I remember at the FM 973 to Webberville run several of us had trouble with theft and vandalism to vehicles. Has that problem been solved? I will be on the road a lot...

I would say 10:00 for distant drivers and those who sleep late. We have a later sunset now so we still should make miles the first day.

I am off on a hog hunt in South Texas next week, but have been thinking I would like to do the Brazos at Possum Kingdom in late March or early April.
