The Texas Water Safari is a 261 mile non-stop marathon canoe/kayak race from SanMarcos to Seadrift. The 1st 80 miles is down the SanMarcos River until it flows into the Guadalupe River, just above Gonzales.Then down the Guadalupe until it empties into SanAntonio Bay- across San Antonio Bay to the seawall at the finish line at Seadrift. It's the "Toughest Boat Race in the World"
